  • Candidate will primarily be responsible for support WAN and Edge routing and working with multiple providers to support, troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing connections as well as perform these same duties on new installs during manage services migrations.
  • Candidate will secondarily support, troubleshoot and resolve issues on very large campus network and work with multiple agencies to resolve issues reported with Service Now.
  • Assists in the planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for network systems (including wireless) of moderate complexity.
  • Participates in network planning, network architecture design and engineering. Integrates and schematically depicts communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete network configurations.
  • Evaluates new products, performs network problem resolution and assists in the development and documentation of technical standards and interface applications.
  • Monitors protocol compatibility, performs system tuning and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Candidate must be able to work OT when required.

Experience Required: 
  • The ideal candidate should have experience in supporting large network infrastructure with multiple providers on the WAN.
  • Candidate should show at minimum 8+ years’ experience working in Cisco Environment with OSPF as primary internal routing protocol and BGP with multiple providers on edge.
  • Candidate should also have experience in network design and implementation of new networks as well as experience configuring LTE 4G connections with Verizon, AT&T using Cradle Point and WIC cards.
Education Required:
  • Associate’s Degree in Information Technology
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
