Position Description:
Our client is looking for Computer Systems Analyst candidates for a position located in Richmond, Virginia
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. 5+ years of directly related experience supporting systems administration.
  • Candidate must have Security+ certification and a professional certification in your specialty (Linux, Unix or Windows).
  • Maintains structure of rights for accounts and groups. Performs system back-up functions on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required. Maintains the functionality of Microsoft Windows and SUN Solaris / IBM AIX UNIX servers. Implements updates on server hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoots and fixes hardware or software problems. Deploys IAVAs, patches, and updates and configuration changes to Operating System, web servers, applications servers, and approved application software, then remediates any issues with assets to ensure the updates have been consummated in the DCOE and datacenter. Creates, implements and maintains the Group Policy Objects settings in support of the Windows infrastructure and all Windows components required to maintain the DCOE, to include Windows Organizational Unit settings ensuring compliancy with STIGs and Agency directives.
  • Maintains and supports any and all key management servers for software licensing keys for Windows applications operating in the DCOE. Creates, designs, maintains, and updates the Windows Active Directory structures.
