Federal Client is currently seeking an Information Security Analyst (Journeyman) to provide offsite support in Ft. Huachuca, AZ. 
The Role:
  • Perform information assurance (IA) policy development, implementation and oversight for the SEC in support of the Army systems software sustainment mission
  • Provide guidance on integrating security and risk management activities into ongoing Software Life Cycle Management activities
  • Assist in Accreditation and Certification activities to support the organizational transition from DIACAP to RMF
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or other technical discipline with 5 years’ IA experience; 7 years’ IA experience to substitute for degree
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Must be Information Assurance (IA) Trained and Certified per the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement; IAW DoD 8570.1-M, Change 2
  • IAM Level II Certified, (acceptable certifications are GSLC, CAP, CISM, CISSP, or CASP)
  • Must have a working knowledge of the functions spelled out in DoD 8570.01-M for their role of IA Management Level II
  • Ability to work closely with a team of IA professionals as well as other technical and managerial professionals
  • Proficient with MS Project and other MS Products
  • Must have excellent written and verbal and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • An advanced degree with a concentration in Information Security or Cyber Security
  • Army Information Assurance experience
  • Proficient with software and system life cycle processes
Clearance:  Active or Interim DoD security clearance
