Project Manager

Government Agency  is currently seeking a Full Time Project Manager to provide onsite support in Washington, DC
The Role:
  • Develop project templates and schedules
  • Provide updates regarding the overall status of each task including progress against stated objectives and milestones, resources expended, issues, risks
  • Document potential problems capable of impacting the project work or completion schedule with planned remedies to mitigate the potential problems.
  • Provide descriptions on current program management activities, identifies gaps, suggests processes to be developed and implemented to fill gaps
  • Provide support for change management processes
  • Provide monthly updates on milestones/accomplishments, risks, and staffing
  • Track quarterly updates on budget, performance metrics, milestones/accomplishments
  • Manage program change management processes and communications.
  • Identify, track, and analyze meaningful metrics to provide insight into program operations, areas for improvement, and customer usage of services. 
     
  • What you need to bring to the table:
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • 5+ years supporting a PMO
  • Experience developing project plan and schedule, PowerPoint presentations, executive briefings, Excel spreadsheets and budget documentation, Visio diagrams, dashboards, ad-hoc data call requests, and alternatives analyses
  • Ability to effectively communicate goals, activities required to achieve goals, and the timeline for completing activities
  • Demonstrated experience identifying resources required to complete activities
  • Proven experience providing dedicated support to aid in enterprise wide strategy development and management, portfolio/program governance and support, as well as general operations support
  • Experience suggesting, creating, documenting, and implementing process improvements for current program processes. 
     
  • Clearance Required: US Citizen - Must be able to obtain "Public Trust" level clearance
