Management Analyst

Government Agency in Washington DC  is currently seeking a full time Management Analyst to provide onsite support .
The Role:
  • Work closely with Senior Executives on a variety of Program Management Office (PMO) functions including but not limited to change management, strategic support, executive briefings and communications, customer support, marketing, and management analysis to promote, optimize, and advance one of the largest shared services program in the government.
  • Independently draft client-ready briefing materials such as presentations, memorandums, roadmaps, correspondence, and other reports for distribution to Senior Executives.
  • Promote the program through the creation of collateral, product demonstrations, and nominations.
  • Suggest, create, document, and implement process improvements for current program processes.
  • Identify, track, and analyze meaningful metrics to provide insight into program operations, areas for improvement, and customer usage of services.
  • Implement standards and governance (e.g. tracking, monitoring, and updating the status of program deliverables and appropriate application of other processes to ensure data currency, validity, and relevance across the program).
  • Maintain library of PMO documents and build repository of briefing templates
  • Prepare responses to data calls; lead efforts to research, gather and document findings and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Execute daily administrative duties as assigned (e.g., meeting planning, facilitation, meeting notes, action item follow-up).
  • Manage program change management processes and communications.
  • Manage and report Risks and Issues across the portfolio, including escalation where appropriate.
 
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
  •  3-5 years’ experience in related experience, including 3 years’ experience with executive level communications, both verbal, written, and presentations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field
  • Strong consultative and advisory skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help with any task that needs doing.
  • Must be a self-directed and self-sufficient with demonstrated initiative, sense of urgency, and ability to come up to speed as a subject matter expert in a very short timeframe, gaining customer confidence.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated confidence and ability to make a positive impact immediately upon joining the team.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, especially with Senior Executives.
  • Must have an outgoing, confident, polished demeanor and be an excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Extreme attention to detail and excellent writing and editing skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Suite
 
Desired Qualifications:
  • Project Server, Web Analytics
  • General knowledge about Shared Services or Product Management
 
Clearance Required: US Citizen - Must be able to obtain "Public Trust" level clearance
