Position Title: Senior Level Principal Software Engineer
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Position Status: Direct Hire

 Position Description:
Successful candidates will be an integral part of the Radar software team, and will be involved in development, integration, test and user support.  The candidate shall be able to contribute to the entire software life cycle of Requirements, Design, Code, Unit Test, Integration and System Test.  The candidate shall also be able to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable and consistent with organization objectives. Working on a radar defense system. 

  • Convert software requirements and specifications into logical design artifacts, development of software code, unit testing of code, and analysis of software defects• Maintain, debug and fix problems with Radar applications
  • Support generation of documentation to include:  software design artifacts, requirements documentation and problem reports
  • Determine failure root cause, develop, design and implement solutions
  • Analyze system performance vs. technical requirements, research and make Software/Systems improvement recommendations

Required skills:
  • C programming language skills
  • 6 plus years software development experience
  • Experience with complex, real-time embedded signal processing software programming
  • US citizenship is required
  • Proven experience with software development on Vx Works or other real time embedded systems
  • Ability to operate complex test equipment
  • Demonstrated experience with hardware and related software/hardware interfaces
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate, resolve and track complex hardware/software interactions and problems and follow.
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain an active secret clearance
