Position Overview:
Seneca’s client is looking for a Configuration Management Analyst to join their team in the Washington D.C. area. Candidates must have an understanding of CM methodologies and SDLC framework/must have federal experience as well.
Our client is a federal management consulting firm specializing in three core services areas including management consulting, IT consulting, and Business Process Re-engineering.
The scope of this requirement is to provide Program and Project Management support. In order for the ACFO-SS to achieve operational effectiveness the offer or shall provide technical support required to prepare original or revised PMO documents in accordance with current government directives. Support is also required for ACFO-SS PMO determination of system life cycle costs and costs to maintain the USDA·s corporate strategies.
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Provide configuration management support for ACFO-SS Governance Boards (Configuration Control Board and Technical Configuration Control Board)
  • Lead and facilitate Configuration and Change Management meetings, such as Change Control Boards or CM Working Groups
  • Document and update standard operating procedures
  • Perform quality checks on Change Request documentation to ensure all submission prerequisites are met
  • Provide customer service to external agencies
  • Create and analyze CM reports/metrics
Required Skills:
  • Experience in change management, strategic communication, and training support
  • Experience leading organizational change management efforts, particularly as related to the implementation of new IT systems
  • Expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to develop organizational change management plans and oversee their execution
  • Ability to work independently to advance progress on high-visibility organizational efforts
  • Ability to produce high-quality planning and reporting products for a senior leadership audience
