Position Overview:
Seneca’s Big Four client is looking for a Data Developer to join their team in the Mclean, VA area! The Data Developer will support the Data Access and Storage Data Architect in identifying and evaluating data architecture related options and implementation approaches, with particular emphasis on ensuring the ability to effectively implement the recommended data architecture strategy.
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree is a must.
Required Skills/Responsibilities:
  • 3+ years of data development experience
  • Implements data access capabilities that allow data scientists to efficiently access required data, in a simplistic, standardized, and secure way, from within the Sandbox they are developing risk models within
  • Apply business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies/principles and business process modernization projects
  • Apply, as appropriate, activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques
  • Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures
  • Develop and apply organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared software and database management systems and data warehouses
  • Construct sound, logical business improvement opportunities consistent with corporate Information Management guiding principles, cost savings, and open system architecture objectives
