RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Application development of software systems for assigned function
  • Design, develop, and test WCF and XML web Services using C# in support or overall corporate SOA
  • Design, develop, and test Windows and Web applications using ASP.NET and C# (WPF Preferred for Windows Applications)
  • Collaborate with the team create a framework for developing solutions more consistently and efficiently.
  • Participate in planning by analyzing requirements, estimating work effort, performing demos, etc.
  • Write technical documentation.
  • Help with builds and releases
  • Assist in customizations and integration of third-party systems into the existing suite of software systems
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS:
  • 2+ years in C#/VB.net and ASP.NET.
  • 2+ years’ experience developing web-based UIs.
  • 2+ years overall experience building software solutions.
  • Good understanding of XML Web services and WCF
  • MS SQL Server 2005/2008
  • N-Tiered Development (ie. CSLA, MVVM, MVP)
  • Familiarity with JavaScript
  • HTML
  • Visual Studio 2015/2017 and .Net Framework
  • Familiarity with IIS and .NET architectural concepts, patterns, and standards
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
  • Experience developing in SharePoint 2007/2010
  • ASP.NET MVC
  • Angular
  • WPF
  • JQuery
  • Microsoft Unit Testing Framework

  • Demonstrates basic familiarity in general with the functions of the various IT groups (i.e. Operations, Network Services, etc.)

  • Able to interact effectively with external contacts (i.e. customer's system administrators, etc.)
  • Demonstrates flexibility regarding change of assignments, focus, priorities and needs, etc.

  • Demonstrates initiative and is able to work with only moderate supervision
