Position Title: SQL Administration
Location: Birmingham, AL
Position Status: Multi-Year contract

 
Role Description
This role includes activities related to application development, data acquisition and maintenance, QA/QC, and end-user training and support related to the proprietary SCS Transmission Engineering TEAMS (Transmission Estimating Analysis and Maintenance System) application.  This role will work with both Transmission Engineering Services Technical Services resources and customers from design, construction and maintenance organizations.
 
Required Skills/Responsibilities/Experience
  • Experience providing excellent customer service for highly technical, time-critical issues
  • Experience prioritizing work and handling multiple duties simultaneously
  • Data query requests (i.e. audits, accounting, compliance reporting, etc.).  SQL Experience required.
  • Data Entry and correction
  • Data maintenance (entry and correction) - includes Facilities name changes, Data repairs (Firecalls), Basic Units and assemblies, Key marks and Maximo numbers, material and budget data, etc.
  • Material Library maintenance
  • Administration of user access
  • Support TEAMS technical training activities (formal and informal)
  • Document work processes to facilitate knowledge transfer
  • TEAMS and TEAMS interface testing activities
  • Monitor and support Work Order related activities
  • Document bugs and enhancements for future releases of TEAMS
  • Monthly closeout processes for all Operating Companies
  • Update repair tax allowance Line data for all Operating Companies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Access and/or Toad
