Position Description:
Our client is looking for Administrative Assistant - Marketing candidates for a position located in Alabaster, Alabama
 
Responsibilities:
  • Handling customers and taking orders over the phone in a fast-paced environment, processing orders from our sales team and customers, checking and replying to emails, having a general understanding of our products and our customers' needs.
  • Relies heavily on data entry & customer service.
  • Handle entering of new and updated account information.
  • Enter orders efficiently and address any inquiries.
  • Must have knowledge of MS Office Suite
    • Excel - create specific reports, compiling and sorting information and spreadsheets.
    • Word – create correspondence, instructions or documentation.
    • Outlook – handle email correspondence and calendar functions.
    • PowerPoint – create sales presentations.
    • Publisher – create sales flyers, promotions, etc.
  • Prepare mailers, brochures and circulars by formatting content, arranging printing, and coordinating with other team members
Experience Required:
  • Two years of experience in order entry or data entry, three years of experience with Microsoft office
  • Professionally answer incoming calls, address customer inquiries, resolve customer complaints perform clerical and related office tasks as assigned.
  • Excellent data entry skills/10 key by touch
  • Superior keyboarding skills.
  • Demonstrate excellence in customer service.
  • Excellent verbal skills must be proficient and fluent in English.
  • Must have a good work ethic to work independently, focused and without direct supervision.
  • Work harmoniously and effectively with others
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines.
  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office Suite to include expertise in Word, Excel, Publisher.
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks with high degree of accuracy.
