The Senior Contracts Manager will ensure contract review, approval and execution in accordance with corporate and/or business unit guidelines. He/she will prepare and administer routine correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated submissions.The Sr. Contracts Manager will be responsible for preparing, organizing and maintaining contract records and files documenting contract performance/compliance and may conduct research to support contract audits or identify contracting trends.
The successful candidate will work closely with Finance and Accounting to ensure the needs of our corporate and external clients are met in a timely manner.
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFARs, and other agency supplements
  • Exposure to multiple contract types including FFP, T&M, and CPFF
  • Administration of GSA schedules and other agency IDIQ vehicles
  • Generates reports required to monitor contract compliance
  • Negotiation of contractual agreements
  • Independently works on smaller engagements or works within team on a large, complex engagement
  • Independently applies the contract management tools and techniques to assigned projects
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, SharePoint, JAMIS Prime, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project software packages
  • Understands maintenance and tracking of contract backlog
  • Understands the process of maintaining accurate data within an enterprise wide system
  • Acts as primary point of contact with all clients (Including US Government) and will be able to develop positive relationships to drive company success
  • Responsible for maintaining active and accurate Past Performance and CPARS database
  • Supports all monthly reporting activities with Service Delivery and Corporate
  • High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness and ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed or as requested by management
  • Outstanding written, verbal, quantitative, and presentation skills
  • Strong initiative, and organization skills
  • Proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
  • B.A./B.S. Degree
  • Minimum of four (5) years of experience in contracts administration
 The selected candidate must be able to pass routine background investigation.
