Position Description:
Our client is looking for IT Support Analyst for a position located in Richmond, VA. Our client is a clothing and lifestyle store based out of Richmond, VA. We started selling vintage Levi's in 1996 but have since expanded our offerings to include men's and women's clothing and accessories. In 2008 we launched our web store and have been shipping worldwide ever since. Our home office houses our retail store front and everything from design and branding to online sales. We truly believe in the products we carry, carefully curating a mix of well-known brands and up-and-coming independent designers from the US and abroad.
They are currently seeking a full-time IT Coordinator in our Richmond, VA office. The IT Coordinator will be responsible for supporting departments including ECommerce, Merchant, Fulfillment and Shared Services teams in day-to-day monitoring & optimization of IT processes and applications to support all business functions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on all matters related to hardware, software, and communications support for all departments
  • Identify and resolve daily technical issues and propose effective solutions related to
    • Maintenance
    • Updates
    • Installs
    • Licensing  
    • Billing
    • Configuration
  • Act as Liaison between Need Supply and our third-party technology consultant
  • Ensure ongoing system security and back ups
  • Be the internal communications subject-matter expert on Email, Phone, Video and more
  • Perform all aspects of IT user maintenance, including addition, modification and deletion
  • Assist in the decision making/planning process of IT needs at the beginning/end of each fiscal year
  • Order standard IT equipment for the department and see to the responsible disposal of retired equipment
  • Maintain a proper inventory of all IT related equipment and software
  • Participate in the evaluation and piloting of new products and services (both hardware and software)
  • Follow up on all fixes and repairs on IT products in the department
  • Train users in technical tools such as running diagnostics, remote access systems, etc.
  • Disseminate IT information to departmental staff in person and writing
  • Assist in departmental moves of IT hardware and communications 
Required Skills: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Systems Management, or related field
  • Strong aptitude to work within deadlines, both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary
  • Sound understanding of both Microsoft and iOS applications
  • Assertive, adaptable and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Demonstrated experience in a problem-solving role
  • Ability to work effectively with and present to individuals at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of dependability and strong work ethic
  • Responsible and trustworthy
Desired Skills: 
  • 1-2 years’ experience in ECommerce, retail site operations, or merchandising experience preferred
  • Familiarity and experience with retail or content management applications
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical aptitude
