Responsible for the direction and coordination of activities involved in Maintenance department and ensure the proper flow of work.  Responsible for following Good Manufacturing Practices and can follow detailed cleaning and sanitization procedures. A successful candidate would have General Mechanical, and Electrical troubleshooting skills. This position performs plant maintenance, maintenance administrative duties and will report directly to the Plant Engineer. 
Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma required; college preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Maintenance Management, and Food Processing experience. 4 years of Maintenance Management and Beverage processing preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.4 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies, safety procedures and good housekeeping practices.
  • Adhere to Safe Quality Food requirements.
  • Must be knowledgeable in general mechanics, and electric troubleshooting.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Demonstrates strong management skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Adapt to frequent changes in climate, environment, workload and schedules.
  • Ability to lift to 40 pounds.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime as required.
  • Shift work may be required.
 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies, safety procedures and good manufacturing practices.
  • Work with purchasing to make sure necessary parts are available to prevent downtime.
  • Assure that equipment and facility are properly maintained for efficient production.
  • Supervise and coordinate preventative maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
  • Supervise and coordinate installation of plant equipment.
  • Execute and evaluate work orders.
Organize and communicate assignments to Maintenance Technicians.
