Position Description:
Our client is seeking Folder Operators in the Bindery department of its Richmond, VA manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent and 3+ years' experience in the Bindery department.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensures product is folded in accordance with the docket, dummy or quality standards.
  • Ensures proper machine set-up, operation, maintenance and housekeeping
 
Required Education: High School Diploma
 
Required Skills:
  • 3+ years as a Bindery Assistant, Material Handler or other Bindery department position.
  • Knowledge of federal and state hazardous waste handling and disposal regulations.
  • Ability to follow and apply written/verbal instructions.
  • Ability to operate a particular piece of peripheral equipment and to detect malfunctions.
  • Ability to follow and apply written/verbal instructions
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet short deadlines
  • Ability to remain standing for an entire shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
