Position: Assistant Electrical Supervisor
Location: Troutville, VA 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Work with supervisor to plan and execute all corrective, preventive and predictive Electrical maintenance tasks
  • Ensure reliable operation of all Electrical process machinery and systems, including motors, actuators, generators, drive systems, automation and control systems etc, through condition monitoring and implementation of maintenance programs.
  • Acquire and allocate resources (internal and external parts, labor and tools) as required to support planned and unplanned maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain and promote strict adherence to all safety rules, regulations, and company policies. Ensure that all Electrical work and installations are compliant with all applicable national, state or local codes (including MSHA, NFPA 70, and 70e).
  • Assist Electrical Supervisor with reporting, general operations and planning, audits and future planning.
  • Lead troubleshooting activities and supervise over repairing complex industrial equipment and systems.
  • Actively supervise and develop the electrical maintenance team to ensure effective communication across & between shifts and with the production teams
Required Skills:
  • Ability to interpret and create ladder logic diagrams, logic diagrams, process flow diagram and Electrical schematics.
  • Ability to move into Supervisor position in the future.  
  • Excellent computer skills including use of Microsoft Office. MS Project experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to work extended hours, holidays, nights and weekends occasionally.
  • Able to assimilate and embrace change. Safety-minded and team oriented attitude.
Required Experience:  
  • The qualified applicant must have a valid Virginia DPOR electrical journeyman certification
  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Knowledge of Cement process and lab instrumentation a plus.
  • 5+ plus years’ experience troubleshooting High Voltage systems is highly preferred.
