Position Title: Project Development Engineer
Location: Cullman, Alabama
Position Status: Direct Hire
Position Description:
Our client is looking for Project Development Engineer candidates for a position located in Cullman, AL. 
Position Details:
This client is looking for someone who is experienced working on projects from concept to prototype to validation. The major emphasis with this position will be on application and integration of various sensors to commercial vehicle products. Other responsibilities will include developing and testing prototypes including printed circuit board design, embedded firmware development and communication to various telematic systems. This person will also need to have the ability to work with outside suppliers during the development process.
In addition to experience with the above, the following skill sets are required:
  • Ability to perform CAD.  Experience with Inventor or Solidworks is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of at least one electric design automation (EDA) tool.
  • Ability to develop and test embedded systems firmware.
  • Knowledge of various sensors as applied to components to measure temperature, distance, pressure, etc.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex electrical systems
Experience and Education requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred
  • B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required
