Windows System Administration on the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network supporting US Government Customers. The selected candidate will work as the primary System Administrator for a customer managing physical and virtual Windows 2008R2 servers running HBSS, ACAS and WSUS for the Readiness Integration Center in the AWS Cloud
Specific job duties include:
  • Windows 2008R2 and Windows 2012 system administration
  • Windows 10 desktop, laptop and VM system administration
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting a HBSS server, ACAS server, WSUS server, and local YUM Repository server
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with system administration for Windows 2K8
  • Experience with configuring and managing Security Center
  • Able to perform mitigation of vulnerability found by ACAS scan
  • Understand network diagram particularly Ports, Protocols, Services (PPS) and able to trace connection between different machines
  • Experience with working in a cloud environment is a plus
  • Experience working within configuration management processes and procedures
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
8-10 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.

Certifications (IAT Level II)
One of the following:
  • Security+ CE
  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
  • Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
  • System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
and one of the following:
  • MCITP (Enterprise Administrator)- Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008
  • MCITP (Server Administrator) - Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008
  • MCSA - Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
  • MCSE - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Required Skills
  • 3+ Years of Experience with Windows Systems
  • Experience with Windows VM environment
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Red Hat VM environment
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification
  • Experience with the IAVM process
