Position Description:
Seneca’s client is a leading Systems Integrator (SI) delivering DoD clients a variety of solutions and capabilities, including private, public, and hybrid cloud deployments, as well as business management, and transition services.   We are seeking an individual to join our milCloud® 2.0 sales team. 
This sales position is responsible for identifying customers, identifying their maturity for Cloud migrations, and transition pre-sales/sales opportunities to new milCloud customers. This position reports to the Growth Lead in establishing a pipeline for milCloud® 2.0 future migrations and cloud services.  Successful Candidates will have an in-depth understanding of cloud service offerings associated and will gather prospective customer requirements in order to identify the most applicable milCloud® 2.0 service offerings to meet their needs.  Candidates will work with the Marketing and Strategy team to ensure mission partner awareness of milCloud® 2.0 service offerings. 
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and target potential customers, services and maintains existing customers and improves customer relations in order to increase market penetration.
  • Effectively handle the assigned customers through consultative selling of products and deep knowledge of Cloud and customer IT processes.
  • Assist in the development customer facing product materials including user manual, datasheet and product brochure, demo, and guides.
  • Analyze the market to search for new potential customers and work as the main contact to customer.
  • Collect specific product requirements from customer and give input to appropriate CSI team members.
     
Required Skills:
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD SECRET Clearance
  • Over 2 years of experience in technical sales
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure, Platform, and Software as a Service capabilities
  • Knowledge of data centers to include compute, storage, provisioning, operating system, network, and cybersecurity
  • Experience closing sales on enterprise wide accounts a plus. 
  • Experience at building a sales pipeline
  • Willing to travel up to 50% during peak times
