Position Title: Lead .Net Developer
Location: McLean, VA / Remote

Position Description:
Our client is looking for Lead .Net Developer candidates for a position located in McLean, VA / Remote.  A nationally recognized organization is seeking a Lead Developer to split their time in between developing and overseeing teams of .Net developers. The ideal candidate has 8-10+ years of .Net development experience, including Quality Control. This person must be comfortable with troubleshooting issues outside the development lane and possesses strong communication skills well with non-technical groups and customers. This group also utilizes Agile approaches in their workflow. There is a heavy emphasis on ability to troubleshoot/understand root cause of emerging issues with application, code, database, and server performance. The remainder of time spent will be with the development team, coordinating priorities, and being “shield” between client and developers. 
  • Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software.
  • Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
  • Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
  • Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Evaluates effectiveness.
  • Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
  • Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
  • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
  • Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
  • Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Acts as team leader on projects. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of others on the development team.
  • Participates in development of software user manuals and technical reports.
Required Education/Experience:
Master’s degree and/or 5-15 years of experience.
Technical Skill Set:
  • Windows 2008 R2
  • SQL Server 2008 R2
  • ASP.Net v4.0 (or later)
