Schedule: Monday – Friday (8am to 5pm) 

•    Manage and maintain database objects in SQL Server.
•    Design data models.
•    Cleanse, validate, interpret, and analyze data.
•    Work with internal customers and external vendors to determine data requirements.
•    Write SQL scripts and queries.
•    Design SSIS packages for ETL.
•    Create SSAS data cubes.
•    Design SSRS reports.
•    System and unit test all deliverables, including positive and negative test cases and manual tests.
•    Document meetings, requirements, and applications.
•    Provide Data Support to Statisticians.

The successful candidate will:
•    Identify and analyze business requirements from documents and end-user discussions, identify and define the data requirements necessary to support each reporting process.
•    Identify and define the security requirements necessary to protect the data items, identify and define the business rules associated with the data; these should include all data integrity/constraint requirements.
•    Identify and perform detailed analysis of all data sources for each application and subject area.
•    Verify the accuracy and level of information supporting the business requirements, as well as subsequent development activities.
•    Play a vital role in the evaluation of data solutions.
•    Build reports and provide solutions for projects, optimize or fine tune slow running reports, monitor performance of reports and take corrective action to improve the performance of the reports when necessary and reconcile discrepancies between the expectations of departmental data managers and information presented in their report.

•    3-5 years working in SQL Server 2012+ or other databases.
•    3-5 years developing analytical data models and designing data extracts.
•    5+ years building software solutions.
•    Familiarity with IIS and .NET architectural concepts, patterns, and standards.
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, to create good working relationships with business users, and pay close attention to detail.

•    Experience working with SharePoint 2010+.
•    Experience working with SAS loads and queries.
