Job Description:
• Work with technical SMEs to develop Work Instructions for technical functions performed by Tier1 and 2 Service Desk, Desk Side, Mobile/Wireless, Telecom, and VIP support staff
• Coordinate and lead the drafting of Service Desk Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including capturing process information and refining written material
• Coordinate documentation of cross-departmental roles and responsibilities so that the finished product is understood and agreed upon with all stakeholders
• File, store and link Work Instructions and other technical support documentation in a logical fashion in the Service Desk Knowledgebase
• Use a variety of tools such as Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Adobe Connect
• Ensure program deliverables such as SOPs, Plans, and reports are delivered on-time and meet quality standards including leading review and coordination sessions with government POCs
• Provide guidance and support to program management on compliance with internal policies, procedures, and standards
• Provide advice on potential process improvement
• Perform document review, product audits, and process audits
• Provide content development support for training materials and courses
• Monitor in-systems for delivery, level of effort, and quality of services provided by Service Desk Agents
• Develop tri-folds, self-help materials, and content for the Customer Support Portal
Job Requirements:
• 1+ years of technical writing experience
• Knowledge of DoD policies and governance
• Knowledge of Remedy incident management system and reporting functions and Avaya call management system/ACD solution and reporting functions desired
• Experience with Microsoft Office (with special emphasis on Excel),  SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Adobe Connect
• QC/QA experience including statistical analysis, problem management techniques and process improvement techniques
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
