We are seeking a highly motivated independent candidate who is familiar with the judicial system, legal proceedings and technical analysis in order to train, install, support and enhance an enterprise imaging application.

Job Summary -
The Supreme Court of Virginia, Office of the Executive Secretary is seeking a highly motivated person for the position of Records Management Services Analyst. This position, based in Richmond, Virginia, performs installation, training and support activities for all OES imaging systems deployed to the various courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities -
The Records Management Services Analyst is responsible for scheduling, coordinating installations, training and supporting staff in various courts around the Commonwealth of Virginia on Case Imaging, Judicial Imaging and Land Records Management systems. Other duties include writing and reviewing system requirements and business rules, compiling and distributing release notices for system releases as well as providing application support and troubleshooting.  Other tasks include conducting formal classroom training sessions, interface with users (clerks, judges and other legal professionals), analysts, programmers and developers to provide feedback on system issues or enhancements, as well as participate in technical review planning meetings. Statewide travel to install, train, configure, and troubleshoot applications is required.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience -
A college degree in Criminal Justice, Information Systems, Business or Public Administration or similar is preferred. The most successful applicants will have proven experience in the court system with demonstrated knowledge and skills supporting criminal and civil proceedings, land recordation as well as troubleshooting computerized imaging systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.  Experience or knowledge of relational databases, including the use of SQL queries preferred.  Candidates must be self-starters capable of working independently with minimal supervision while also having the abilities to interact and collaborate well with other analysts, programmers and subject matter experts. Excellent communication and training, analytical, writing and multitasking skills are required. Previous experience working and training in a Virginia court is desired.
