Position Title: .Net Developer
Location: Birmingham, AL
Position Status: Contract
 
Position Description:
Our client is looking for .Net Developer candidates for a position located in Birmingham, AL. Our client is headquartered in Birmingham, AL, and are focused on producing construction materials to maintain standards of living in both developing and advanced societies. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging and documenting in-house developed applications, providing technical expertise to business users on production support issues and submits complex resolutions and design recommendations for approval, and complying with all standard practices, procedures and policies governing principal duties and responsibilities.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing, installing, testing and maintaining approved application changes.
  • To ensure defined and approved business requirements are met, data integrity is maintained, and processes are efficient.
  • Works with business representatives and other I/S personnel in the development of business requirements and develops associated technical requirements and design documentation for approval.
  • Performs all unit testing required to ensure programs and systems meets business and technical requirements.
  • Work with the Change Control group to ensure all changes are checked into the source code repository and are adequately moved to the Test and Production environments.
 
Required Education:
  • 3 years’ experience in analysis and programming.
 
Required Skills:
  • .Net experience (C#, MVC, Windows forms)
  • SQL Server skills (writing stored procedures, triggers, views, etc.)
  • Exposure to SSIS and SSRS
 
Desired Skills:
  • AngularJS
  • TypeScript
