Job Description
  • Source, and interview for technical positions
  • Match applicants to job openings
  • Source for future job openings, and build an applicant log
  • List job postings on job boards, social media, career web sites, and other possible channels
  • Review applications in the applicant tracking system
  • Call applicants and perform phone screens
  • Schedule interviews for hiring managers
  • Instruct applicants on the nature of the job and with whom they will be speaking with during the interview
  • Inform candidates of company's hiring decision
  • Complete reference checks
  • Participate in college career fairs to recruit new and upcoming talent
  • Participate in implementing new recruiting technology, such as applicant tracking systems and screening tools
Required Skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Expertise in evaluating and hiring candidates with Software Development backgrounds
  • Ability to pre-screen candidates for technical roles to ensure only high quality candidates move forward
  • Ability to quickly analyze and evaluate applicants’ critical thinking skills
  • Ability to learn technical information
  • Self-starter
Required Experience
  • 3+ years of experience recruiting within a government contracting company
  • Bachelor’s Degree
