Position Description:
Our client is looking for Asset Manager for a 6-12 months contract to hire position located either in Crystal City, VA or at The Pentagon with a large government solutions provider.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Manage software and hardware inventory
  • Create and enforce policies and processes for inventory management
  • Manage billing for IT accounts, software, and hardware purchases
  • Manage and maintain expense outline documents
  • Maintain third-party vendor relationships
  • Audit inventory regularly
  • Work with employees and third-party vendors on hardware deployment, recovery, repair and replacement
  • Work with finance to maintain deprecation policies
  • Work with legal to ensure software licenses and other agreements fit our needs
 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2+ years of previous IT help desk/inventory management
  • Experience creating inventory management processes and procedures
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with internal and external partners
  • Experience using inventory and software license management software
  • Experience monitoring/managing expenses and reconciling them
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Drive
  • Keep on-hand inventory organized and well-stocked
  • Experience managing remote inventory
