Position Description:
Our client is looking for dynamic Business Systems Analyst to support key initiatives for a large financial institution in Richmond. 

Job Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to the following): Software and Application Implementation, Configuration and Training/Support:
• Acts as a change agent to implement and integrate new ideas to streamline and standardize procurement processes with performance metrics and measurement systems.
• Performs or assists with the research, development and implementation of new technologies for the NPO and the procurement function. Stakeholder Communications:
• Acts as a liaison between the NPO, Districts, System workgroups and their customers in completing projects, including automation projects involving one or more offices.
• Serves in a consulting role for senior management and product areas in identifying and resolving policy, operational and control structure issues.
• Communicates qualitative and quantitative data gathered in department meetings and System work group calls to support product/support development and market research initiatives.
Analysis/Research:
• Assists in the implementation of key System projects or initiatives identified by senior management.
• Provides innovative, knowledgeable, and ongoing analytical support to procurement services and national contracts. Provides innovative and knowledgeable support to the national procurement function by researching issues and by providing an analytical resource for special projects.
• Prepares cost and revenue analysis in response to requests for ad hoc information.
• Maintains a current and thorough working knowledge of procurement services operations and consequential System developments and industry trends. Serves in a consulting role for senior management and product areas in identifying and resolving policy, operational and control structure issues.
• Uses analytical methods to evaluate issues, risks, and processes and develop recommendations for management and System review. Prepares formal correspondence, reports and presentations to articulate issues, methods of review and basis for recommendations.
• Serves on ad hoc groups to establish, review, and make recommendations relative to purchasing operations and strategic sourcing. Represent the NPO on System level work groups involving procurement services and policy issues.
• Participates in the development of new services to be offered to NPO customers. Prepares and responds to questions regarding service enhancements or proposals.
• Provides general analytical support to NPO management and the procurement function by preparing briefing documents, presentations, charts and graphs, etc. using a variety of software packages.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems or related business field (required)
• Minimum seven years direct related experience optimizing business processes (i.e., process engineering, lean, six sigma, etc.) (preferred)
• Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP-IIBA) (preferred)
• Advanced in the systems, process design and implementation.
• Ability to solicit, understand and document business requirements, processes and workflows
• Serve as a subject matter expert with developers and other IT professionals
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems
• Ability to develop and execute use cases, test scenarios and test plans
• Ability to conduct gap analysis between application(s) and business requirements
• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Ability to assess impacts of change, and the effectiveness of tools and training on adoption
• Ability to perform quality assurance on team deliverables
