Position Title: Customer Service Representative Location: Pell City, AL Position Status: 3 month contract
Position Summary: The customer service representative, or CSR, will act as a liaison between customer and local plant, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer might face with accuracy and efficiency.
Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer through open and interactive communication.
Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Handle customer requirements/complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
Keep records of customer interactions, process customer orders and file documentation for safe keeping
Follow internal and external communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
Support CS team as needed based on supervision direction.
Ability to use technology to streamline procedures and tasks.
Excellent interpersonal skills - must be professional in demeanor and work ethic and have a sense of responsibility for their work.
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Excellent Communication Skills - The ability to communicate ideas in a concise and direct manner.
Excellent Organization Skills -The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment without losing sight of long and short term company goals. Being able to prioritize the daily and weekly tasks of self to maximize customer satisfaction.
Good computer skills using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word and Outlook).
SAP experience preferred.
Attention to detail - Stay on top of departmental needs and requirements with a sense of urgency to meet or exceed company expectations.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Keen analytical skills.
