Position Title: Help Desk Specialist

Our client is looking for Help Desk Specialist candidates for a large organization located in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate can turn complicated issues in to simple solutions through active listening, interpersonal communication and cross-functional teamwork.
Skills & Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and make accurate decisions promptly in a dynamic work environment.
- Guide end users through various procedures via email and phone conversations.
- Create, monitor and own cases in the Ticketing system
- Escalate difficult cases to senior technicians.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven record of problem solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
- Use computer systems to gather information, track and troubleshoot issues, and respond to issues.
- Computer application experience with a strong proficiency in MS office applications.
- Customer service experience.
- Technical support or call center experience.
- Good technical and analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask in high tension situations.
