PC Support Analyst

Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for providing desktop support for Microsoft related operating systems, with emphasis on Windows 10. This support includes problem solving, installs, equipment relocation upgrades, workgroup, and network printing configurations. The candidate would also provide support for the Microsoft Office Suites, ODBC Connections, Lotus Notes client, various scanning software applications, printer applications, and various Antivirus/Malware suites.  This support includes installs, triage, updates, first-line problem solving, application configuration, and technical support. The candidate would also provide support for workstations, desktops, and laptops, from manufacturers such as Lenovo, HP, and Dell, as well as any peripheral devices such as HP and Xerox printers, HP and OCE large-format plotters, HP and Fujitsu desktop scanners. This support includes hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, triage, repair, as well as software troubleshooting and configuration of associated applications, drivers, and bios software.
 
Maintain a highly skilled understanding of the basics supporting infrastructure at all levels (Software applications, PC Hardware, Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Application Suite, etc.)
 
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems and supporting Applications
  • Provide desktop support for all Microsoft related operating systems, with emphasis on Windows 10. Support includes all problem solving, installs, upgrades, workgroup, and network printing configurations.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Office Suites, ODBC Connections, Lotus Notes client, various scanning, CDRW, DVD, and printer applications, and various Antivirus/Malware suites.  Support includes installs, triage, updates, first-line problem solving, application configuration, and technical support.
  • Provide support for workstations, desktops, and laptops, from manufacturers such as Lenovo, HP.  and Dell, as well as any peripheral devices such as HP and Xerox printers, HP and OCE large-format plotters, HP and Fujitsu desktop scanners. Support includes hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, triage, repair, as well as software troubleshooting and configuration of associated applications, drivers, and bios software.
  • Provide Workstation & PC desktop deployment support, as well as provide support for any projects or administrative tasks in the enterprise that the customer requests. This includes planning, implementation, configuration, and management support.
Qualifications:
  • AA in Computer Science/Technical School and 3-5 years of direct PC support including Microsoft Certification on related systems.
Preferred:
  • 3-5 years of direct PC support including Microsoft MCSE
  • Microsoft certification(s). (MTA, MCSA PC, MCSE, Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), MCSA Server)
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+,
  • Bentley ProjectWise Administration, Bentley MicroStation CAD support
