Seneca is looking for multiple GIS analysts for a large utilities client of ours. Please see the job description listed below.
Support the LED Roadway Project through the NLC Technical Team base station installation and maintenance initiative:
- Assimilating mapping data (DistView/Google maps) and determining base station placement locations by analyzing preset pole criteria/determinants (distribution facilities experience a plus).
- Create job/construction packages (JETS/GIS Designer) for the field crew to install base stations based on #1 above. Then reconciling the jobs upon completion and getting to billing.
- This is done indoors – cranking out work from behind a desk.
Organized and detail oriented
Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and Excel
Verbal and written communicator
Quick learner with new technologies
Knowledge of DistView, GIS, JETS, helpful

It is anticipated that this position will be needed for approximately 24 months. The person will work a 40-hour work week.
