Position Title: HRIS Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA 23219
Position Status: Direct hire
Compensation: Extremely competitive
Shift: Monday - Friday (8am to 5pm)
JOB SUMMARY:
Under direction, assists the HRIS Manager and other leaders through research and analysis. Accountable for data integrity and reporting of the global HRIS system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports
- Filter and clean data by reviewing reports, printouts and performance indicators to locate and correct data problems/discrepancies
- Convert existing reports to Cognos Analytics and automate delivery of reports
- Run routine daily/weekly/monthly reports and distribute as appropriate after validating results; create ad hoc reports and workforce analytics for users as needed
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities and recommend/implement solutions/corrections for HRIS related matters
- Provide technical assistance to Human Resources and payroll staff to ensure data integrity including, identification and correction of data errors, resolution of data entry problems, etc.
- Assist with training Human Resources personnel and creating/maintaining documentation and tools for proper data entry
- Assist with pre-release tests (trial runs) on new systems, enhancements, etc., to ensure optimal functionality of system data
- Assist with data entry and data integrity for US employees and oversee data entry and data integrity of foreign employees into the HRIS system
- Assist with government required reporting including management and accuracy of reported data content
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Access Database skills required
- Experience in Cognos reporting preferred
- Knowledge of Ultipro System preferred
- Knowledge of SAP general ledger preferred
